"I didn’t expect MyHeritage to have so..."
I didn’t expect MyHeritage to have so many records from other countries. I ended up finding family info from Poland and Germany that I hadn’t been able to track down on other sites. It’s not perfect, of course, but the coverage is super useful if your family moved around a lot. Overall, I’m happy with it.

"DNA kit arrived faster than I expected"
I ordered the myheritage DNA kit and it actually showed up quickly, which was nice. No delivery issues or anything like that. The box looked fine, and the instructions inside seemed easy enough to follow... I mean, I haven’t gotten the results back yet, so I can’t really speak to that part, but as far as getting the kit shipped out and delivered, yeah, all good so far.

Putting the tree together was easy, so I’ll give it credit for that. The setup didn’t take much effort and it looked decent once it was up. But wow, the glitches were frustrating. A few parts didn’t line up as smoothly as they should have, and I had to mess with it more than expected to get everything looking right. It’s not a total disaster, but for something that should be simple, those little issues got old fast.

"DNA results were sorta spot on"
I was surprised by how close the ethnicity estimate was. It lined up with what my family has always talked about, and even the smaller regions sorta made sense. It took a little while to get the results back, but it wasn’t a big deal. For me, myheritage felt accurate and easy to understand.

I only signed up for MyHeritage thinking I’d make a small family tree and leave it at that, but I ended up finding old records and names nobody in my family ever really mentioned. A few of the matches surprised me and helped fill in some blanks I didn’t even know I had. It did take me a bit to get used to everything, and I’ll admit I’m kind of worn out from having to learn yet another online service, but overall it’s been worth it. I’ve learned more about where my grandparents came from, and that part feels special...

"Easy enough to cancel and get refunded"
I signed up, then quickly figured out I didn’t really need it at the moment. So I went to cancel, and I was expecting it to be a bit of a pain, but it wasn’t. Simple process overall. I messaged support about getting a refund, and they got back to me faster than I thought they would. They looked over my account, told me the refund was going through, and that was basically it. The money showed back up after a few days. No back and forth, no pushy stuff trying to make me stay, nothing weird. Just handled it fairly, which I appreciated

I was able to download my raw DNA data really quickly, and the whole thing felt straightforward. I expected it to be a little more complicated, but there was no hassle at all.

I tried MyHeritage because I felt a bit pressured to finally get our family history sorted out, it had way more old records than I was expecting. I found census and birth info for a few relatives quickly, which was a nice surprise. It’s not perfect and a few things still needed double-checking, but it definitely helped me fill in a lot of blanks.

Most of the matches I get are close by, which is nice. Every now and then there’s a random one that’s weirdly far away, but overall it seems like it works fine

I did find some useful family info through it, which was cool. But the subscription feels kind of expensive for how little I actually use it. I’m not sure how to explain it, but it feels like something I’m glad to have access to occasionally, just not enough to fully justify the cost.

I ordered the health report mostly because I was curious, i found it interesting to go through. From my point of view, it was easy to use and gave me a better sense of what things might be worth paying attention to.
A few of the results lined up with stuff I already know runs in my family, so that made the report feel more relevant to me. It also gave me a couple of things I’ll probably bring up with my doctor, which I see as a plus.
That said, I did feel like some sections could have explained the risk numbers in plainer language. Overall, I’m glad I got it, but I personally would’ve liked a little more detail in the parts that felt too technical.

I did appreciate that MyHeritage showed the prices upfront before I signed up. I could actually see what I was paying for, and I didn’t get hit with some random surprise charge afterward. That said, I’m always a little distrustful once I’ve handed over my payment info, so I definitely checked the renewal details and kept an eye on my account. Luckily, the renewal info was easy to find, and everything matched what I expected. Overall, it felt safer to try than I thought it would

"Pretty much always works smoothly"
I’ve been using MyHeritage for a few months now, and it’s been really easy to deal with. The site loads fast for me, and I haven’t run into crashes or random weird errors, even when I’m clicking through huge family trees. The search pages open quickly enough too. In general, these genealogy sites can be a hassle sometimes, but this one basically just works the way you’d expect.

"Faster than I expected"
It got processed quicker than I thought it would, which was a nice surprise. I just hope they keep that kind of speed up, because if it starts taking forever next time, I’d probably look elsewhere.

"Really impressed with the photo fixer"
I tried myheritage to clean up some old blurry family photos, it worked better than I thought it would. The faces came out much clearer, but they still looked like the same people, not overly polished or fake or anything. Uploading and downloading was simple too. I’ve only used the photo tools so far, but for that alone I’m really happy with it... kind of makes me want to go through more old pictures now.

I found some old family stuff really quickly, and the app worked well on my phone. it feels good to use something that helps preserve family memories instead of making the process frustrating or overly complicated.

I have been trying for a week to get an answer to my request to correct double billing for this program. my only response has been through blue snap but there is still no resolution. i'm getting very impatient! i want a refund for at least one of the charges. this is the only forum i've found where i can contact a myheritage representative?

I have been using my heritage web site for awhile now and last year paid a subscription found it hard to use. i found this year i have paid another year subscription which i didn't know about. i cancelled it straight away and now the next month another $173.51. has come out of my account. how do i stop this from happening again and cancel my membership. sue. p
